This Aluminium Joinery course offers practical training geared towards the professional environment in the manufacture and assembly of metal structures. Throughout the course, students will learn to interpret plans, prepare technical documentation and use tools and machinery specific to the sector, also incorporating the use of design programs such as AutoCAD and specific applications for production management.

Objective

  • Acquire the knowledge and skills to work as an employee or as a self-employed worker at the Aluminium Joinery workshop.
  • Carry out all types of work allowed by this material: windows, doors, terrace enclosures, railings, shop windows etc.
  • Knowing how to operate the different machines and tools in a workshop: plotters, die-cutting machines, copy milling machines, pneumatic presses, etc.
  • Learning Winperfil software to acquire the necessary skills as an assistant manager in aluminium and PVC workshops.

Content

  • Graphic representation and technical documentation: Process documentation, technical drawing, plan interpretation and standardisation, tolerances and profile finishes.
  • Preparation and use of the tools and machinery necessary in mechanical manufacturing processes: Use of tools and equipment, preparation and cleaning of machinery, prevention of occupational risks and current environmental regulations.
  • Preparation of basic plans as workshop support in the AUTOCAD design program.
  • Preparation of budgets, cutting sheets and production with WINPERFIL program.

  • Official assembly and manufacturing in aluminium carpentry workshops.
