Direct payment is a means by which the worker receives the financial benefit for temporary disability resulting from professional contingencies directly from the Mutual Society, instead of receiving it through the company.

If any of these situations occur:
- Termination of the employment relationship or suspension if fixed-term intermittent workers.
- The payment of the benefit is not received by the company.
- Having exhausted the 545-day period of sick leave.

- Trade Representatives
- Artists
- Bullfighting professionals
- Agricultural workers
- Domestic employees
- Workers in groups 2 and 3 of the Special Sea Workers Regime.
- Being on redundancy plan/temporary redundancy pan
- Being in a situation of partial retirement.
- A relapse occurs while unemployed.
Through FREMAP With You or by submitting the following forms to FREMAP:
- If you belong to the General Scheme: ES, AC, EU, GL, VA.
- If you belong to the Special Scheme for Domestic Employees.
- If you belong to the Special Scheme for Agricultural Workers a photocopy of the payslip for the month of the leave and up to 3 previous months if you were employed by the company during that period.
