Direct payment is a means by which the worker receives the financial benefit for temporary disability resulting from professional contingencies directly from the Mutual Society, instead of receiving it through the company.

  • Termination of the employment relationship or suspension if fixed-term intermittent workers.
  • The payment of the benefit is not received by the company.
  • Having exhausted the 545-day period of sick leave.
  • This refers to a worker excluded from receiving delegated payment, such as:
    • Trade Representatives
    • Artists
    • Bullfighting professionals
    • Agricultural workers
    • Domestic employees
    • Workers in groups 2 and 3 of the Special Sea Workers Regime.
  • Being on redundancy plan/temporary redundancy pan
  • Being in a situation of partial retirement.
  • A relapse occurs while unemployed.
